A Croatian boy throws his four children from the top floor

Police in Croatia said a man threw his four young children from the upstairs window of the family home on a Croatian island, seriously injuring two of them.
The children, ages 3, 5, 7 and 8, were thrown early Thursday from a height of about six meters.

The two older children suffered serious bone fractures, while the younger children were less affected.

Croatian police, who have arrested the 54-year-old father, are trying to determine his mental state.

According to the Associated Press, the incident occurred in the Croatian island of Bagh in the Adriatic Sea.
